Side B mainly restructures the application around hierarchical ItemId/GlobalTree concepts, updates the UI to use breadcrumbs and node-based rankings, and renames the settlement worker to a journal, but much of it is architectural refactoring and scaffolding, whereas Side A delivers substantial new functionality that persists in the project.
